Special words to special friends:
My loving wife Janet; and my God-sent children, Sir,
Trinity, Creed and little Philip...you're what it's all about.
My sister Beverly...no one could ever take your place.
Julius West...you're a multi-faceted and extraordinarily
talented brother. God bless you.
Terri McFaddin...your love, your presence and your talent
have been sorely missed.
Deniece Williams...Niecy, the love is just too deep.
Billy Davis, Jr. and Marilyn McCoo...our relationship has
helped me so much to press toward the mark.
Leon Patillo...thanks for helping to show me the way.
Jerry Peters...you're a creative genius and a faithful servant
of the Lord. Thanks.
Frank Wilson...I feel secure following you, as you follow
Christ.
Billy Ingram...my pastor, teacher, founder and songleader.
Leonard and Carolyn Caston...you have inspired my life in a
way that you'll never know.
The Living Epistles...without you, this would have never
been possible.
Over four years ago, a seed was planted among several
people of like mind who wanted to express their thanks to
God for their abilities. Out of this concept has grown many
incomparable relationships with Christ and with one
another. I celebrate this long-awaited blessing with all
those who have continued to pray, believe and walk with me
during those hours when I needed them the most.
Paul Jackson Jr., Johnny Graham, James Jamerson, Jr.,
Freddie Washington, Nathan East, Ralph Johnson, Richard
Heath, Vernon Hicks, Charles Williams, Jerry
Peters...you've all got spots reserved in God's heavely
symphony.
LeMarco, Carl, William, Theo, Richard, Greg, Ivon,
Syreeta, Margaret, Lynn, Linda, Koda, Anesther, Annette,
Deniece, Gwen, Caroyln, Karen...I doubt if the angels will
be singing any sweeter.
Joe, Lonnie, Gilbert, Starletta, Mario, Foster, Todd, Bob,
George, Larry, Felipe...if no one else knows the extent of
your contribution, I sure do.
A very special thanks to John Patton, Stephen Dyson, Janet
Bailey and Julius West, officers of the Living Epistle
Outreach Ministries.
Warehouse Ministries...Louis, Mary, Roger, Jan, Maggie,
Ruth, Don, Steve...thanks to everyone for starting us on our
way and seeing us all the way through.
Word Records...Stan Moser, Don Cason, Tom
Willett...thanks for sharing the vision.

While singing the songs that have
helped make Earth, Wind And Fire one
of the most distinctive and universally
accepted pop groups of this era, Philip
Bailey has had a unique platform from
which to share his talents. Through
thirteen years of international touring,
extraordinary experiences and
fascinating encounters with people
from all over the globe, Philip has had
the good fortune of viewing the world
from a very special perpsective.
Ironically, if one had asked him the
significance of all of this in early 1975,
he would not have had an answer to
that or any of life's most pressing
questions. It was later that year that he
encountered Jesus Christ and began to
understand the God-given purpose for
which he had been created. As a man,
a musician and a mouthpiece for his
Maker, this man who thought he had
seen it all started to see things with a
new vision. The artist with access to
such a tremendous platform now had
something priceless to give... the good
news of the wonders of His love.
After nearly a decade of Bible study
and prayer at the core of a fellowship
of popular entertainers who have been
best known in the secular world, Philip
has completed this, his most
meaningful musical moment to date. It
is at once a witness of all that Philip
Bailey has ever been, and all that he is
still becoming. It is Philip's prayer that
this record will give each of us new
glimpses into God's awesome power
and wisdom... and The Wonders of His
Love.
